Live from Nchoupat
In the beautiful Noun division of the West Region of Cameroon, lies Nchoupat village. Nchoupat is located in Bangorain Sub-divisoon and is the base of over 1000 Rice farmers with over 500 hectares of Rice farms. The people here have a Rice culture and are ready to partner with the RVCDP to increase the quality and quality of Rice which they produce. They are however worried about the floods by the Noun River, which has rendered over 50 hectares of their land inaccessible and unusable. The RVCDP team is on the field to brainstorm and find lasting solutions to the problems of Rice farmers in this area, as well as identify sites which will be further developed for Rice farming.
